		<description>I was looking for the type of caterpillar/butterfly I had on my front door the past few weeks and I came across your image (and question) above. Your photo matched what I was looking for. I finally found the name, and thought I would come back here and let you know what it is! :-)

It was a Nymphalis antiopa, or Mourning Cloak, butterfly. :-)</description>
